Nobody uses FATEs to level up Blue Mage, they give like 1/10th the exp of killing a single adjacent mob.

Hence why I said "for those that choose", it doesn't really matter what they give if it's something the player actually wants to do. I did a few FATEs when leveling BLU (also to increase the achievement count), so clearly the "Nobody" claim is just personal opinion. Your point is kinda moot.

I'm glad my post got so many responses, even if they weren't all positive. I never imagined the event wasn't well liked, I really enjoyed it when I was playing it. It was grindy, but it was also easily ignored and went on for a whole month. I had ample time to get all the stuff I wanted and never felt stressed or rushed in doing so. I suppose it may have been a bit annoying farming FATEs if I hadn't been leveling at the time, but since I was travelling all over the place questing I was just doing FATEs as I ran around anyhow and barely even noticed getting it all done.

No, but only because I'm selfish and I want my event mounts/glamour items to remain rare.

only if they decide to add weapons for the new jobs to it. :v

uhm... they will. this is not for everyone. I did not notice a huge increase the second time around. The only people who will do it are the ones who either weren't here for it, or just almost completed it and need only a few more. the total who would do it would be less than the first time around. There were waaaay less people the second round than the first.

we don't need it to come back yet again.

The "I don't like this event so it must be removed from the game" meme is going to be old. If someone doesn't like or care, just let it pass.
