Top 5 Quality of Life Updates I Hope to See in Shadowbringers [Dev Request]

I just want to option to buy or craft aetheryte tickets to my personal house and FC and make them tradable for visiting friends

Also. Can the location for wedding location get an aetheryte to teleport?

I can confirm. I was leveling MIN a while back and the HW stuff is just bananas. I was in all at-level HQ gathering gear (no melds cause those were expensive AF back then) but I still only had like a 2% chance of HQ

Fishing. Allow fish to be targetable and ditch the catching of random fish while trying to get the one your after, I would rather have misses then catch a dozen of fish I dont need. Its so annoying I stopped leveling fishing as its really not even needed in all honesty. I enjoy fishing in real life so I know you can target only what you want to catch depending on bait,gear and location.

I do that and after I type out my one line, it defaults back to what channel I was using beforehand.

Unlike with literally every other channel, including tells (Which, for some reason, are remembered through log ins for all eternity, so if I accidentally press R at any point I start sending a tell the the last person who tried to blind invite me to their FC...)

Honestly, at the very least, I'd like to be able to cut the line.

When you're going for a specific fish (Which is like 99% of the time when you're fishing) you can usually tell if you're interested in the bite by the size of the tug. Would be so much nicer to be able to skip the reeling animations to have more time to actually use Patience buffs (Which is ironic when you think about it, trying to rush to make the most of patience :confused:). Especially when you get one of those massive fish that take about 4 whole eternities to reel it >.>

The quests are made even more annoying by the fact that they require gathering rare materials. So you cannot easily optimize your GP spending by using buffs at the nodes they are at their most effective.

You can kinda do that in FFXIV too, although the options are very limited. For some fish even the optimal bait provides a very slim chance of getting the correct catch.

I would welcome a more targeted form of fishing as well. FSH is my least favorite job due to the amount of RNG involved.

I wonder if you noticed the suggestion to use the recommendations window that was on the first page? When I'm actually focusing on the hunts instead of just killing them if I happen to pass by I go through all the zones with the recommendations window set to clan hunt. Most of the time I will remember where to find each enemy but if I don't I can select it in the recommendations window to call up its hunt bill. No need to write anything down.

No I didn't. I'll take another look at it but I've generally found the Recommendations window to be pretty useless.
