Constantly 'reserving server'

Really annoying today. We have been waiting 30 minutes for getting to O11s again. Without success. Raid Time is over now.

Balmung's borked too.

Adamantoise too, but Duty Finder worked. :mad:

I wonder if we'll get an extension to the Valentine event, have not been able to do it at all tonight, on actual Valentine's Day lol.

This is affecting all NA Data Centers. Just have to wait for SE to split the DC . . . wait

Dead on Sargatanas as well. Guess i'll play other games today since it's probably not going to be fixed until after the hotfix. *Oh look Paradox games has a huge sale for the CKII DLC... whelp i'm set for the next 1,000 hours i'm not playing this game*

Usually, when reserving instances pops up, it means the maximum amount of active instances are currently being used and you're waiting for one to free up. If that's the case, this isn't a bug, the game is simply at capacity. This is not new to MMOs.

Other MMOs were at least capable by fixing the issue with throwing out new servers... FFXIVs spaghetti duty server code sadly doesn't seem to be "fixeable" like that.

Having duty server fail two days in a row during prime time for up to 4 hours (and i bet you it will be even worse during the weekend) is inacceptable.

besides in like 3 hours some ppl should have gotten an instance...
