A concern about hunts with the new cross-world feature

I hate this already, we have players camping s ranks, spawning them, and killing them before I can even teleport to the area. players from other worlds are killing s ranks just to make ppl mad. all I wanted was the tiger mount. I want to talk to someone about this. I pay a sub fee and now I have serious doubts I will ever get the tiger.

This is largely due to being restricted to 1 CWLS. The concept of relaying hunts ingame requires two linkshells, and the lack of this has pushed us to coordinating partially via things like discord.

This group is several CWLS, most of them full of 64 active spawners. It's a large "group". At that point we may as well start calling it an army or a hunt community. :D

That's an unfortunate thing, but just happens sometimes. It's obviously worst during peak times or when a lot of hunts spawn at the same moment across worlds. If you waited 5 minutes for each of them you might get a backlog of 20 hunts across worlds too.

Horus is the most accurate tracker that has taken measures to make griefing difficult and everyone works hard to keep it accurate. If you're unsure you could try to ask people who you think might have a good idea of what's accurate. Just incase something is wrong, you could not put all your eggs in one basket and work on multiple hunts.

I agree with this but they can't add every feature that we end up needing. Development takes time so they have to prioritise and we just have to go with whatever the community settles upon if we can. A lot of people engineered Baldesion Arsenal runs to require going through a Discord server, which wasn't intended but just the most workable and organised way the community was able to put together for it.

Long timers are less of an issue if you spawn cross world, because if a hunt doesn't spawn on one world and you try it on the other 7, before long you'll actually spawn something.

You could try hopping around worlds and spawning them yourself. You can't miss a hunt if you found and reported it, and people can't camp all of the zones on all of the worlds, so you'll usually have time to find what you spawn without someone beating you to it.

i want the tiger mount on mog station then, this is absurd. i would pay $100 to not have to do hunts anymore and just buy the damn thing!

If you wait for others to make things happen for you instead of being proactive and making them happen for yourself, you're going to have a harder time getting what you want.

Why not make friends with those groups that are doing the spawning and camping then join them as they work on spawning the S ranks? Or were you looking to get the tiger with no effort on your part other than showing up when the relay goes out?

If it's a reward you want that much, it should be taking up a greater part of your game time to earn it. I don't care about getting the tiger for myself but I've been out there helping get the S ranks spawned when I can to help those who are after it, usually the ones that people hate doing like Senmurv and Nunyunuwi.

Got to agree with jojo with xhunt era you should actually getting more hunts then before just you have work harder for them. Also like point out that It not the spawners that are pulling these mobs but a group of trolls that think that all hunter are bots. Which is funny because the only people they are hurting are the non hunters from the host world and the spawners that give up there time to pop mobs. Simple fix give all S rank 20x the health they currently have and keep raising the hp per expansion.

But you can miss it even if you helped spawn it. I've spawned in Southern Than (which is a royal pain in the ass), Northern Than and Western La Noscea only to have people from other worlds find and kill it before I can even get there. I once spent an hour spawning Nunyunuwi only to arrive with just enough time to throw my Tomahawk and miss before it died.

They need to make it so hunts only give rewards on peoples' home worlds.

Because there's also the issue of how quickly they're killing them. I was camping in South Shroud cause I knew the spawn was coming soon. Gamma was called. I tele'd to Yanxia immediately. It was dead before I got there. Immediately Mindflayer was called. I immediately tele'd back to Shroud. As I was still looking at the loading screen I see announcements that it's already dead. It doesn't matter how quickly you respond. Whoever these people are they're acting like locusts.

There is a nice person in one of my shells that will occasionally notify when a spawn window is about to open and if it forced or not. I run and help spawn and hope the xworld troll group doesn't get there before I can to help kill. It's not always successful. A shout out thanking the nice gal for the callout to spawn or I wouldn't get S ranks anymore.

dunno just let the S ranks spawn with no special spawning criteria just like A ranks, but only up to max 3 times per day, and with an unpredictable timer(s) so can't be camped either. make the marks unable to hit by anyone who is a 'wanderer' eg. could appear as green NPC to those, that way we would avoid off worlders to early pull as must quickly get to next server for next kill.

As it is now the players can't maintain order and calm stuff, so suggesting that the people workign on it could look a possible way to fix this one way or another.
