Any hopes to EVER get 8+ man content?

We find 8man content to be very limitating and somewhat frustrating

Are some people just against grouping because they are anti-social? I don't understand why anyone would be against real group content where you actually join a party/alliance, talk with them, plan out roles for the fight, and get rewarded together when you win.

And it appears it isn't even that people who just want to solo, they want to play with others but only if they don't have to communicate/work with them directly. Some content like that is fine I guess (throw a bunch of NPC helpers in there too), but how about some real large-scale group content while we are at it too?

It's an MMO it would be terrible if everything was so impersonal.

Needs to be something in this game the Whole linkshell can do.

the 8 person crap and being forced to tell multiple linkshell members sorry have to wait here for an hour while we go in gets old fast... really fast.

Not everything should be designed for a lowman pickup group. It is just crap mmo design.

I don't believe that a monster in the next dungeons would drop a primal weapon. Because only the primal weapons are moving direct in the inventory instead in the loot bag first.

I think alliance content is not coming before 2.0

I get that, and there should be some content like that. But you shouldn't be able, in my opinion, to do all content without truly having to work together with others. Because for a lot of us that is where all the fun is at with these types of games.

Also PUG's are not that bad on Selbina, sure I've had a few bad ones but we run Moogle/Ifrit successfully all the time with people we pick up. You need a solid base of people you trust, but whether you are in an endgame LS or not you can either find that yourself through trial and error/your friend's list. Or you can join a party that has that established core already set.

You are welcome to come to do Moogle/Ifrit with TS sometime if you want, no strings attached.

And how would you suggest they balance content to an entire linkshell? I mean considering a linkshell is comprised of a wide range of members, upwards of 100. So yeah, let's see them balance content to that many people, piece of cake right?

We already have issues with just the 8 members, we should really try to perfect what we already have before progressing to multiple group balance.

The games not been out long, give them time.

Content for 4-8-16-32 ppl same way they did it in XI more or less

While a guild may have 100 ppl in it, a normal endgame guild will have around 15-25 ppl online at one time, due to the RL factor and all.

I've done with more than 8 people:

Coffer farming at the Stronghold NMs
Big Game Hunts for r99 Goblin back when Gold Dust was worth something.
