Tess, you need to title the thread correctly, and dont use it as a way to "fight back" against the anti RPist thread

use a title such as "Balmung, the unofficial RP server" and youll get the point across much more efficiently and not make it look like a cry for RPist attention

Thanks for the input, i'll be sure to try that on the third version of this thread, i'm sure there'll be a GM come by soon at this rate XD

And it wasn't me 'fighting back'. I'm not all into this odd feude that's going on. Just figured, since there was an Anti-rp thread, it would help to bounce attention (yes, i would like this thread to garner attention) back here by proxy.

I don't think we should use these forums to broadcast the news. It would need to be a place where the news could be stickied.

I don't want to supercede RPC management here, but I would lean on informing admins of NA FFXIV fansites and allowing them to notify their respective communities if they desire to present the information.

Probably quite right. I imagine that's the plan already. Though it never hurts to at least try to inform through official channels. Even if it turns out like... well... this.

I have to admit i'm surprised by the maturity levels these forums STILL have. Doesn't matter what's said, or how it's said, there's always a group of people with nothing better to do than complain about it. That goes for both sides of every arguement.

Can't we just be hippies for a bit and get along?

Actually, I'm Native American/Gypsy/Irish, and the term redneck would fit me better...but, I'm still a hippy. :)
And I have no bones with the RP community, neither do I have anything against any who wish to play without it. At the moment I'm leaning towards one of two servers; Ragnarok, and whichever server the monopoly of RP-ers decide to go to.

The front page has 2 threads about rp, and one closed one. I wouldn't say it's been a spamfest, heck, most of the reason that the RP threads don't need bumping by rpers is because of the people so heavily against RP voicing their opinions even harder, in the same thread.

Just look at Oskar's thread, over 200 posts, and the majority of it is pointless arguement.

Maybe you rpers should unite on an unofficial forum, then you can exchange pictures of wizard hats and tell cool storys without being hassled.
