Party Finder and it's static recruitment usage

I guess to them it's childish and selfish to be doing those static recruits set to something that's not Omega or other. I rarely look at the PF but the ones I've seen have used an omega listing and a typical LF X for static that runs at Y message. I'll assume they also don't like that they're most likely a cross server listing which I mean just cuts down the amount of people you can recruit. I don't raid but to me it's silly to want this to be reportable and I guess bannable.

I ignored it, yes. I fail to understand how it became annoying enough to warrant a full blown discussion when all one has to do is ignore it like so many other people. But you know, differing opinions and all that.

I just don’t understand why it’s a big deal? So much so that “it should reportable”. Just ignore them, it’s not hard. Could there be a tab just for it? Sure. I just don’t see how it’s such an annoyance. Clear sellers are an issue, but static recruiters just aren’t. I see them and think “good luck, boo”, and just move on to what I’m really searching for.

Let's wait until PF categories start becoming maxed out before we complain about minutia like this. I want to see clear for a friends autobanned for a giggle but it's outweighed by me not wanting reportable offenses being expanded to the point nobody's going to want to speak up in the ingame client. And there's enough of that as is atm.

To the people replying to my post, please, do yourself a favor and read it again. Every word. SendohJin kindly pointed one of the things that you misread/ignored, but there's plenty of others that seem to have read what they wanted from it. Maybe they (I'm counting the people that "liked" those posts, too) are the same ones that join PF parties without reading the comments, which is another one of the reasons as of why I barely use the PF in the EU/NA servers for anything serious.

But for the lazy ones that don't want to go back:
- No, I don't want to report anyone.
- No, I'm not against people recruiting there for their statics.
- Yes, I'm against people that misuse the PF by knowingly listing their stuff in the wrong category. And yes, doing that is selfish and childish. If I have to explain you why, it's obvious that you wouldn't understand it or agree anyway, so why lose neither of our time?

Honestly, "reporting people" shouldn't have been in your OP to begin with. It sets a hostile tone, and many responded to that hostile tone. Having a recruitment category all its own would be fine, and I feel leading with that suggestion and only that suggestion would have netted you a far better response.
