There are quite a few pieces of gear that for some reason turn up as pink once you dye them red. Don't know why some pieces of gear end up clearly red and some distinctly pink using the same dye.

Just to clarify to everyone... I don't mind pink.. I'd even be ok if ALL the pieces came out this way... that would, at least, be consistency...
One of my friends made the point that cotton dyed with the same dye as leather would not be the same shade
But in this case they are all Raptorskin...
For the Level 48 Raptorskin Jerkin, Level 48 Raptorskin culottes and Level 48 Felt Work Gloves, red is red...
but for the Level 48 Raptorskin workboots, red is pink?
This is a set... thats what bothers me
If there were set bonuses, this would be the setup to get it, Workboots with culottes and jerkin... -

Well this will all be cleared up in 2.0 with the colorID system. They want tons of colors on all gear so it'll all be fixed eventually.

They should never have removed the colour pink from the game. I was surprised when I saw what I thought was dated pink gear only to examine the players and find it said red. Just give us pink back SE because that is clearly what we're seeing.
