Don't piss off the healer! :p
From the times I TRIED to SC+Raise a tank or a healer in 4-mans, the problem is, too many mobs are pulled. Without the tank being constantly healed, he will die. If the tank dies, the healer is dead 2 seconds later and so is everybody else.
On boss fights, eh. Sometimes rezzing someone will work in a 4-man boss fight but you gotta be quick and it depends on what AoEs the boss is doing and when. Always love rezzing a healer who dies exactly 2 seconds after getting back up on their feet because there was simply no way they could possibly get out of a huge AoE that they're in when they stood up.
That fact that the rdm can heal doesn’t give the other three dps a license to attack everything stupidly. If your going to attack everything and anything and expect the rdm to keep you alive you deserve to die. I don’t mind doing the healing as long as everyone’s playing responsibly
I don't touch the Hunt (the A and S ranks) because it's usually a waste of time.
The thing dies before I get there, or I get there and nobody will throw me an invite and I end up getting bronze and next to 0 reward for my time and effort. No thanks.
It's just a badly designed system that I've never bothered with.
The daily hunt things? Meh. The XP isn't good enough, and the clan seals... I've never really seen anything that I could really buy with them that I'm all that concerned about. End up blowing a ton of money on teleports because of course half of them are on one end of the map and the other half are on the other end.
Lesson learned when materia melding: When the percent chance is 50%-80% it really means 1% chance. When the percent chance is 7%-15% chance, it really means 90% chance.
Sometimes I see healers that never heal a rdm because they think its up to rdm to keep themselves healed up. Also if says you have 99% chance at gathering a item its more like a 50% chance. Once said had 99% chance and failed 3 out of 5 tries. Still waiting for true god primal boss where the primal name is Lag.
If you are doing 'one quick trial roulette' before bed it will always be Steps of Faith, Final Steps of Faith, or Shinryu.
Bonus points if less than half the group remember how to do them.
