At least you would be able to more easily distinguish between people who are actually using a bot, and someone who is just taking advantage of a badly designed UI element because they don't want to do something boring and tedious for hours and hours.

Btw, are you really suggesting that you can stand to legitimately play the crafting system over and over, but adding one extra button press to the left on every synth is a "massive pain in the ass" ?

I left an ls today because they had people who botted with turbo controllers all night. I brought it up that they were doing this and the rest of the ls said "Oh it's fine it's a turbo controller" they also said "Do it in a different place next time so the gm's don't catch you." It's funny because the ls leader just ousted a member the day prior for botting but he didn't have a problem with those 3 members doing it because SE didn't state that it was against the TOS.

other games have a create all button then it stop when you run out of supplys, i'd rather have that :(

How is there nothing wrong with a turbo controller when players are using them to afk craft all night or while they're at work?

S-E Should add random QTE in the craft. If you click at the right time on the good key, you have a success for your normal synthesis / fast / audacious, if you miss QTE, the synthesis explode

SE created the issue, it's not hard for them to stop it if they want to.

SE could run a simple script that would check on players who craft non stop for more that X amount of time...

I don't see a problem with using a turbo controller. Even if it *could* maybe be construed as botting (my personal opinion is that it isn't), it isn't the type of botting that is as harmful as the RMT NM bots back in the old days of FFXI...

people used to talk to me too to see if i was there when i was doing my leveling grinds, they mostly know me now so they dont bother, i think they may be scared of my "fabulous" responses lol


but in the end, turbo control = legal
turbo control while afk(not in front of computer in any shape or form, if you are in the kitchen with the control, you are botting!) is illegal


the way of telling the difference is as easy as a gm contact


fyi, against a script checking people who craft a long time, i tend to sit in crafting position afk while at work sometimes(idle of course, literaly just too lazy to hit cancel to stand up) and itd probly check people like me too even if we arent doing anything
