What extra fees? None on my end.
Then again, I've never understood the hate for both C&B and Crysta.

Thank God.
Oh, and SE, too. <.<
Just because it is transparent it doesn't mean that there is no one in the middle.
There is and there will ALWAYS be someone in the middle. Square Enix isn't a bank and Square Enix never ever took money straight off you, even on FF XI, it wasn't directly taken off you.
I still love the new payment method, seamless :) Less hassle than C&B.
Just thought of somethig, if I have leftover crysta before switching to direct payment...will the crysta be used up first?
Hope all those that couldn't pay now can pay and get in :)
Glad you finally were able to pay Catapult!
This is awesome! Thanks for listening Squeenix!
So I switched immediately after seeing that, thanks a bunch SE. :D
Very surprised there was no VBV/MasterCard Secure Code on there. I take it that Square are comfortable keeping control of that liability themselves. Still, very glad I've been able switch all my transactions over to direct payment.
I never had any issue with C&B. It worked first time and has continued to work and bill me correctly, but I'm happier with a middle-man service being removed. In effect, I'd rather pay Square Enix for a Square Enix service than pay someone else who will pay Square Enix on my behalf for a Square Enix service.
If you mean the three digit nuber on the reverse side of the card, the system definitely asks for that.
I can't say I had C&B problems either but I set up my account when FFXIV was launched so the recent issues might not have been around back then. I was also unaware of any controversy about the service such as extra fees. I will need to cancel that account though but since it has been over a year since I set up the account, I will need to search back through my emails for the account username!
Direct CC payment is much easier, thanks SE!
