So SE.. Hows your new wards working out?

To answer the OP subject question, SE did a great job considering what their intentions were. The housing roll-out was deliberately designed to give FCs that missed out on the opportunity to buy housing last time a chance to acquire a house so they can access the workshop and start making ships/subs/aetherial wheels. Many FCs were able to buy housing and do this and SE gave those FCs ample time to be be able to buy housing if they wanted it. The leftovers were left for individuals who wanted housing. It was not their intent to guarantee anyone acquiring their preferred/desired plot so this whining and entitlement from some people on this latest housing situation is getting old.

Working perfectly around here, and there's plenty of houses and apartments available.

God forbid SE to waste more resources on housing.

My ward still has 9 houses that have not yet been purchased. Granted i'm in a sub-division so that may account for some of it, but OP you're in Balmung the most densely populated server. If you want a house that badly move. Many of the smaller servers still have many houses available. Some even still have Larges and Mediums I understand.

Seems to be working just fine on Omega. There were 4 houses in my ward in Mist still available (tons in other wards too). A 5th one came up (no idea if owners relocated or it was auto-demolition) and I liked it so I relocated to it myself :D So many houses left.

Phoenix is full, I don't know how or why. I can see that some of the houses claimed are just being hoarded, no furnishings or garden decor. Any new companies forming up are gonna be homeless.

Yup Couerl still has PLENTY of open plots so it worked great! want a freaking house!?!? transfer servers if its such a big deal to you!

My server has 500+ houses available (29 being larges) so maybe try out the server switch feature they offer people on congested servers.

SE is no longer calling any servers congested; people missed their shot. Maybe they'll add stuff back to that list in the future. We'll have to wait and see how badly populations get out of control with people transferring back on to the big servers.

It's a vicious cycle that, unfortunately, is entirely caused entirely by the player base itself. I do wish they'd step in though and lock those servers again, even from paid transfers to them. They shouldn't block transfers from them, obviously. In fact, I think they could offer some pretty big incentives to get people off those servers and into servers in dire need of a population boost.
