Future crafting beast tribes

I'm not really all that invested in the Wolf people though. We freed them from Garlean rule (conscription?) and never really got a sense of where they were from exactly. They don't particularly have a home map in the game and our interaction with them has been kind of spotty as far as backstory. I'd be super surprised if they suddenly got developed as our next beast tribe "domestication" attempt.

I hate the Namazu NPCs a ton, and I had hoped the crafter tribe would be the Ananta because they had a good case for being the crafters just so I wouldn't have to deal with any more Namazu, but since the Ananta are just another DoW/DoM hub, I can't really imagine it being any other race but those stupid catfish. It almost has to be them. I don't want it to be them, but I don't really see another potential tribe.

One would think with the Ananta's being jewelcrafters, they were going to be the crafting beast tribe. I guess its going to be the Namazu and the Lupin, will work with them. This is only if we are getting 3 beastribes like last time. I remember Yoshida saying that Stormblood might have 4.6 or 4.7 as final patch, this would mean that we could get 4 beasttribes this expansion.

I definitely think it will be the catfish, but there's that whole area in the Peaks with the Quqirn that makes me hope there will be 4 this patch.

Oh, I hope it'll be Qiqirn instead of those horrible ugly catfish things.

And there are friendly, white versions of them already known to us as well who would be used for it. I've always thought it would be the Qiqirn since seeing them at the start of SB.

there are those weird demonic qiqirn in the fringes and qiqirn seems like a good crafter-ish tribe

If they do moogles again, I sure hope it's crafting, so I can completely ignore it. I hate moogles more than lalafel.
I would much rather consort with something more demonic and less Disney. I won't even touch omega, because I refuse to do quests for a damn duck muppet. Perhaps some day Sqenix will grow up.
