WAR got HUGE changes(which were not good no matter how you look at unless you really don't care about what other people think and changes are fine meaning you must have not been playing very long or you don't bother to "git gud scrub" meaning you are going to hinder everyone who are wanting to go beyond what they can do meaning everyone who isn't you isn't going to get nerfed) but it's like they are still working with PS3 limitaions... if they can make a lot of GOOD HUGE changes for tanks and DPS that need buffs in 1 patch THEN they will be longer working with PS3 limitations..

EVeryone has been crying about DRK, throwing ideas, and reasons and math and SE balance team just closes their ears and go "LALALALALALA WE DO WHAT WE WANT AND HOW WE LIKE IT" this is the reason why I quit drk in the first place or tanking in general. The tanking balance is so outta wack its NOT even funny anymore.

Well apparently numbers don't really matter much with the team. All they care is "Is the class fun to play and easy to understand? If so yes then its fine" That's yoshi idea with the game since day one of a realm reborn.

I understand that they want new players/customers but it doesn't mean they also need to shoo-away the regular customers who have been around longer. It eventually leads to a net loss in money

If new players aren't wanting to learn a simple class/job then fine, if new players are wanting to learn a complicated class/job but are too lazy to even learn the more complicated stuff that players who have been around longer are still struggling with from time to time, then they should go with a simpler class/job first then go to more complicated class/job after you got the basics down, instead of asking the team to make the class easier to play rather than putting effort in to actually be as good as the more veteran players

DRK is braindead AND complicated at the same time but in short Darkside never falls off and you will never have enough MP and "special gauge" to achieve what some might consider impossible because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR DRK NOW

You need to get over your idea that balance and job changes has something to do with hardware limitations. It doesn't. At all.

well DRK DMG whent up whit delirium change and now its line up whit Bloodsword sad it dont line up whit raid buff windows 60s and 120s ... and i dont think haveing more mp increase that much dps on drk but we shall see.
QoL TBN change was allso nice and needed.

Sad thing is they dont adress issue what drk has generaly whit war and PLD.
War changes seems to rouse up that warrior community again and soon we see changes again worrior rather then DRK again because they have more voice in mather.
Not to mention actualy now that war IR and unchained is not bound together war became even bether maintank whit possibily going into defiance and use inner beast like PLD shildron.

Two quick changes could have solved everything.

Dark arts+ TBN = party wide shield
Dark arts + sole survivor= dmg up on target debuff.

OH WOW! 2400 MP 40 SECONDS SOONER FOR AT COST OF 50 BLOOD GAUGE STILL! AND TBN NOW LASTING 2 SECONDS LONGER FOR 2400 MP EVERY 15 SECONDS STILL! Yeah... no... still sucks that Mana Shift is pointless to have on Caster DPS when LITERALLY ANY OTHER JOB WITH NO USE FOR THEIR MP COULD USE IT BETTER THAN CASTER DPS!!! DRK will never have enough MP for both TBN and Dark Arts and will never have enough Blood gauge to use Bloodspiller which is DRKs Fell Cleave... WHICH WE DIDN'T EVEN NEED!

This suggestion needs to stop being brought up be everyone and their uncle. Anyone who makes it clearly fails to understand that dropping 4,800 MP on a party wide TBN would be a DPS loss regardless of how you use it. It's a bad idea, one of the worst ideas that keeps getting thrown around constantly, when Dark Knight doesn't necessarily need party utility, it just needs to have an identity.

In PvP I believe Sole Survivor just does this by default, and during the Media Tour Sole Survivor did so in PvE as well. That is the kind of party utility I could agree with, but adding Dark Arts to TBN is just... no.

Dark Knight needs help with mitigation, self sustain in single target encounters and MP costs, those are our biggest problems outside of raw numbers.

Dark Passenger is useless, people say two or more enemies is a gain, but frankly in an AoE situation I'm using DA Quietus because the blood is nigh endless and MP is going to be trivial. DP could have a nice niche if its cost were lowered or it simply didn't cost anything.

They could make the MP restore from Syphon Strike the same in and out of Grit and tie the HP restore from Soul Eater to Dark Arts—like it should be.

Change Sole Survivor to grant a 5% Vuln up on a target, while restoring partial HP and MP to the Dark Knight comparative to the damage sustained by the target during its duration, making it party utility, but also self sustain.

Then the final change I feel they need to make is with Shadow Wall, either the effect needs to be increased, or the recast time needs to be made the same as Sentinel.

That said, I don't expect any of that or anything similar, because they've proven time and time and time and again that they have no idea what to do with Dark Knight. It's almost like they got it right when it was introduced? A novel concept, one they clearly fail to understand. In all honestly, with the sweeping changes they did to WAR in this and every-single-patch, 4.25 or 4.3 better be DRK's time for an overhaul because this is just getting stupid.
