Please make the Eorzean Symphony Code Account-Wide

I agree that these should have been account-bound and not character-bound. I refuse to use my code unless I have to.

It's their game. They have the right to distribute this in any manner they choose. You, as a consumer, have the right to not buy it. That's it. Move along and find some other 1st world crisis to complain about.

Sorry, but I think you missed the part about how SE didn't tell us it was for a single character only until AFTER we'd bought/received the merchandise and the ambiguity it's now caused going forward in regards to codes for in-game items. The store pages don't specifically state if items are per account (as they have been for everything for the past 4 years) or just to a single character and they only added the single character text to the store pages of this item this one after we complained.

This isn't a cash shop (Mogstation) item. It's a physical product from the Square Enix store. It comes a code for an in-game item that you redeem on the Mogstation.

So this is the new trend. I cant believe it. SE really doesn't care about the players as human beings. They're trying to find ways to take money from those that enjoy playing multiple characters. They really do have an agenda against people that play on alts.

It says the same thing on the JP SE Store's product page too, but is conveniently absent from both NA and EU's product pages. i could have swore the NA page had Yotsuyu listed as account-wide; but I must have been misremembering.

I checked the official JP store and that also confirms the same as your Amazon link and that Yotsuyu is for a single character only.

The EU store has also been updated and now says the same: "This item will be distributed to a single character of your choice on a selected service account."

At the time of the writing the NA store says nothing about this though.

The big question now is... why are they switching to single characters only? :S

While I don't buy these purely for the codes, this is just ridiculous. I'm honestly tempted to not even purchase it if they're going to shift to one character only.
