You have just demonstrated why you get kicked. Good job!

Eh, I've only been kicked once so far for (imo) not a good reason as I was playing along with the team trying my best and no one even said a word during the duty. Honestly I couldn't even say for 100% certain why exactly I was kicked. The other three in my group at the time, I assume, queued together as they were all in the same FC.
So out of the hundreds of duties I've run I've been questionably kicked from just one. Doesn't seem like horrendous abuse is going on to me. Kicks seem pretty rare imo and usually only happen if someone has disconnected.
Removing vote kick would be bad because then people could very easily troll groups by joining and just going afk or just being really rude or whatever.
We vote kicked a tank in lvl 70 af gear and lvl 60 everything else yesterday. Couldn't hold agro for anything and got really nasty when his gear was questioned. Rdm could at least tank well and heals were great keeping the rdm alive all the way to second boss. But tank was so cocky and rude about it expecting everyone else to pick up his slack. Even single targets he couldn't hold much less groups, so *kick*
Also a reason dungeons need a minimum ilvl
only time seen the kick be use the wrong way when my nephew played and was kick by some healer who didn't like the fact he was pulling to slow for his taste even after he explain he was new to the game and it was only his second dungeon so called a GM on the whole group since one if not both dps hit "yes"
So I would say don't remove it and simply punish those who abuse it if can be proven then the Gm punish them by removing them from any dungeons for a day or something
I don't consider this a issue at all. Like many players are referring, for experience I only see people being vote kicked after a long afk.
Other situation that can happen, is that you go into a new dungeon/trial/raid etc., if you say you don't know the fight and your team vote kick you, to be honest, is because they are not comprehensive and don't want explain the fight, they just want to finish the duty quickly.
If SE remove this feature more people would be afk during the Duty. You think it would be fair for the rest of the players to do everything while other person is doing nothing? Well this is just my opinion hehe.
Cheers Fellas.
saw healer get kicked from ex roulette was in. Scholar just couldn't keep tank healed with big pulls and kept running out of mp. I got kicked once when was healer because tank kept blaming me from them dying but tank was under geared and couldn't dodge any big aoe attacks. Reported them and with in a minute gm contacted me. I see ones not using it right all the time. Also one main reason gave up being healer to many under geared tanks that pass blame on to healer and dps.
I dont even know why im bothering to respond, but...
I cant speak for everyone, but contrary to what you believe i do pay attention. I know whos doing their job, whos going above and beyond, whos being a jerk in chat, and whats going on with the run. Vote kicks and vote abandons come up on less then 1% of the runs i do, but i pay attention to who is being targeted and i vote with my conscience. I have never voted for someone to be kicked that didnt earn their kick(and i remind you ive only seen 2 people kicked in thousands of runs for any reason other then afk/disconnected), and i never vote yes on abandons at all. So... yes. If you still think everyone is out to get you, then you are 100% crazy.
This is one of the big reasons they introduced the kick and the "auto-kick after 5 minutes of no input" features. People would queue for roulettes, LotA, primals, etc. and then afk after they entered, except when it came time to roll lots of course, forcing the entire group to abandon or just let them sit. It caused all kinds of bickering and it happened almost daily.
It was esp bad when healers or tanks pulled this. There were times we had to abandon because both heals would enter LotA or Main Scenario roulette and afk for a carry.
On the contrary, given you're lashing out so vehemently against a wealth of people disagreeing with your comment (in such a platitudinous way), you're simply proving yourself crazy. You don't seem open to any possibility but your own. Welcome to the forums - one of many places where people might, shock horror, not agree with you, or not have had the exact same experiences you've had (which has a track-record of being a minority, by the way).Quote:
Thanks for proving I'm not crazy.
As for proof, shall I rewind the 2k plus hours and video-record the 99% of times your experience didn't apply to me (and pretty much nobody else in this thread judging [by the responses]), or is a screenshot of these instances that supposedly happen so often to you a bit too much to ask?
If the issue is as prevalent as you claim, it should be quite easy to show, though bear in mind that community/cross-server doesn't apply across the board. For all we know you could be playing on the one server (and within the same group of people) where random/unfair kicking is common.
well in my experiance 9 times out of 10 people getting kicked for AFK or disconnect reason which are 100% legit
I have been kicked 2 times for what I would describe as "differance of play styles" normally when the party is doing super pulls (4+ mob packs)
