Gobbue mounts

Can't wait to ride around on my Gobbue shouting, "Haters going ta hate"!

I don't like the idea of riding a creature that under any other circumstances would try to kill me.

I'll like the drake mount even more.

The new mount should be slower then chocobo if there not then it make no sense to even have chocobos. The storyline should fit with the game and chocobo should be the main mount for the game the rest should just be for looks.

Yea Goobbue mount should definitely be slower since it quite obviously is more of a fan-service type mount. I hope different mounts will come with different, unique uses though. Like the ahriman hovers off the ground so perhaps it can cross small bodies of water. Drakes, perhaps can intimidate most mobs and limit aggro. I'd also like to see different chocobos with their specialties. Like a flying black chocobo, or a fat chocobo with inventory space or a mobile shop feature. Of course make them rare.

It cool to have goobue mount but at the same time it will steal from the chocobo mounts that tend to be THE mounts of all FF games. I would rather have liked to have seen colored and equipable chocobos first. Maybe a mount for inside some dugeon areas... not all the areas but areas like nawana mines stuff, maybe. idk but to me the goobue looks amazing but it will steal from the chocobos for sure... EVERYONE WILL BE RIDING THAT POO. ANd up until now there never was a point to ride one.

This is what made riding Chocobo in XII even more enjoyable.

Mounts will have function in combat in the future, so it's not as simple as speed differentiatng mounts. Also chocobos might not necessarily be the fastest creatures in existence.

I wouldn't really want a mount that's slower than the chocobos we have now, because honestly, they don't feel that much faster than walking =\
