plz do something about Astro in pvp

20% on disable is way to good make it 10% and give Essential Dignity a higher cooldown then 10 sec thats just stupid benediction has like 120 sec, i know it heals for full but 10 sec cd on a fucking 2k insta heal is so stupid... you guys who are defending Astro has no clue on how strong the class is atm. As a Diamond melee i play against our number 1 ranked Astro in like 98% of the games i play because of the new match making and i can tell you even if he is a good player i can tell you that Astro is crazy strong right now.

Then stop trying to solo him and actually coordinate with your team.

This have nothing to do with cordination it's about Astro being op right now, in Rival Wings i tanked as much as 6-7 players putting bole , lady card on my self and just spamming the procc heals + dignity on cooldown, half of the ppl here doesent even seem to pvp or must be really bad at it if you are this blind.

PVP has everything to do with coordination and teamwork. There is only so much you can do alone to take down any healer not just AST.
Make sure you synergize your bursts with your teamates is very important for taking out healers.

...unless you are a healer of course, then "Teamwork" and "Coordination" do not apply and you may rambo away until you got a full team or Brute Justice on your heels.

It is actually like 6k when the target is low, so it is pretty strong ye. AST suffers though from RNG cards and mitigation, if you have a good burst all the heal wont help you if its not mitigated(disable only 6s, pls it is not that long).


Compared to old seasons I just notice way more defensive/kiting/baiting gameplay by many players, and as you don't gain any more momentum if you keep pushing against 1 target (like no more abilities with resistance down, vulnerability up, cc effects,more dots etc., ye in old pvp it was actually good to play aggressive) it is not really a good way of getting a kill anymore. And that kind of gameplay helps AST immensely atm.
I really don't know why it has to be like this now, you advance 1 step they(no matter what role) retreat 2 steps even if you didn't even touch them once.You might call that good positioning but in the old seasons you at least fought in mid until you noticed there is gonna be burst and you need to retreat or los their range dps, you didn't just fall back completely like a wimp looking for 1vs1 with a healer on your side lol.
I know myself as melee, we tend to be the leading role and do callout on targets and we stay on them, if you get a range dps who cant do that, or healer who are scared to follow you, you are better off playing the same bait game with them, because that is how feast works now, wait for the idiot to come after you and lol burst him 100->0 in 1gcd, because that is skill.

I have had problems with astro many times. 90% of my team was at the generator. It was like 2 healers on my team. Other team had 3 astros and the rest were DPS. Basically no one died for 5+ minutes. And no one got below 50% health.....basically we could not even get one astro below 80% health. Even with everyone including healers doing DPS to only the astros....

ASTs can be pretty ridiculous, especially if they're skilled with the job.

I got attacked by an AST/BLM team last night, and held up against them pretty well. It was a moment of stubbornness for me, I admit. We were losing, and that AST just pushed the button, so I was all in on that fight. Didn't expect to survive, but I was gonna spank me an AST before I went down. . . The AST on my team showed up just as things started to look bad for me, and we began one hilarious war of attrition.

It took 3 BLMs, 1 AST, and a Cruise Chaser to finally take me down, and mostly because I was slow on a self heal.

before 4.0, I use to kill it with AST in The Feast. Nocturnal sect was about the most OP thing with AST in 3.x times. Kiting people with automatic shields. AoE Balances, Boles, and the occasional enhanced or extended ewer. AST was God mode at the time now...they're eh. Hard fuckers to kill one on one, especially with that stupid ass bind.

My question may look stupid, but I only play the Frontline, and when I see people can't kill some healer players with 4 dps on them, how can only 2 dps and 1 tank can kill a healer in the Feast? Do they even do it or the healer is not suppose to die there? Are they supposed to wait to get the kill chain bonus to get them?

I'm always surprised when I see some healers looking like invincible to 4 dps and some healers just dying to 2 dps, I'm like what is the difference between the 2. Or are the dps making the difference? (or both sides I guess)
