DPS is the job of DPS.

How about this.

Are you trying to do well? If yes, you're fine. If no, then you're trash.
Are you doing a good job? Yes, then you're fine. No, then you should brush up.
Are you doing bad if you have not achieved perfection? That's just a plain NO.
Are you someone that actively persecutes people? Yes, then calm down. No, you're fine.
Are you someone who feels a need for your party to be as skilled and as knowledgeable as you? Yes, then form a static. No, then you're good to go.

Don't be afraid to communicate, but realize that yelling at someone is not communication.

I vote Tank 2. Probably a more relaxed and fun run.

I'm pretty sure you have died to 1% enrage, wouldn't you have loved if you only did more DPS during the fight so there was no enrage?

And why do we have DPS stances? Why do we get abilities like Holy Spirit, Fell cleave, Souleater?
You have those buttons as a tank, why not press them?

And even when doing ez content (expert roulette for example) is it required? YES, why shouldn't you try your best? Why shouldn't you use everything at your disposal?
Why spend 30 mins in an expert when you can do it in 20 mins if you only do your best and DPS more?
I do an expert every evening why would I let it take 30 mins instead of 20? Per week that's over an hour of more time waisted. If you count that on a full year it's over 61 hours extra, pretty much tbh.
I have a pretty busy life and have other stuff to do, so I'm a fan of speed-clearing especially when it's ez content.

With same logic DPS people should let themselves die and not use their defensive cooldown because hey why use a 'tank button' when tanks shouldn't use 'DPS buttons'?

Is either a lala? Initiate a vote kick if yes. Which one has the better glamour? Is it better then MY glamour? Initiate a vote kick if yes. If they are wearing unglamoured gear initiate a vote kick while explaining to them that theyre playing the game wrong. Do either of them have a funny name? If yes keep in party, commend, and friend list. So the better tank is the one who isnt a lala, has a good glamour but isnt prettier then me, and has a funny name. Simple. Someone add that to the tank guides.

I think we'll have to argue on lala vs nonlala tank instead.

I think all tanks should be lalas, because they look yummier so more mobs want to go after them.

So does someone from the Healer DPS Deniers Sect want to even the scales? There's a video evidence of healer being able to heal through the content with 17% total uptime.
Make a video of a run where you ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY couldn't spare a GCD to dps... And that'd make a point as well. So far all I'm hearing is "I can't heal for lyf don't expect me to dps REEEE".
And no, I've had runs where tanks were absolutely made of paper. Even if you do have to spam heals, not every run is like this. Over 99% of runs are not like this.

I don't have a vid but I had a run of a certain Hard trial that our 2 healers were healing all the time but couldn't keep up . To be honest, we were all not playing up to par, we had a lot of newer/returning players in the group, myself included, that were not dodging properly and messing up. It got so hard I, as summoner DPS, had to help out with heals, transfer mp, and do multiple rezzes - sometimes even without swiftcast, especially if it was a tank - in order to succeed (and got no comms...grr..but I digress).
So they didn't have time to DPS.

Of course that's not the norm, but sometimes stuff happens.
