Because there's no reason to include a CS. Nothing in the game itself is changing except the population.
Yes, I'm biased. Because you do this all the time and double-post and just seem like an attention-starved child.

I think Answa thinks World change = world merge not the 2.0 thing.
I was assuming the OP meant the changes to the world that come with 2.0 and not the world merger happening today... I certainly don't think the game needs to explain the population explosion happening because of the merger.
However we are getting 1.21a along with the merger so we shall see what world changes that might bring but I still don't expect a CS. :D
2.0 CS, yes please ^^
Don't feel bad Answa. Only Rokien would necro a thread the same day that the worlds are changing in a drastic way.
If anything, we probably saw a glimps of what will happen when we all got the echo. (Dark skies, fire in the sky, etc.) Personally, I have doubts Dalamud will actually hit, due to a moon-sized object directly hitting a planet would wipe Eorzea off the map, and don't forget the mass-extinction events that would occur all over Hydealyn. (In that context, it makes the empire look like it's run by omnicidal maniacs.)
Rather, going by the early cutscenes from the main scenario quests, I think what will happen is that the beastmen will summon thier primals, who in turn will use thier god-like power to either redirect Dalamud, (like the lifestream in FFVII) or destroy it while it's still a distance away. However, regardless of which scenario happens, it will be too little, too late to save the land from an indirect hit, Hence the massive star shower from the early cutscenes, the screwed up aetherite camps, etc. We'd still see a major world-shattering cataclysm, but still have a believable means of surviving to tell the tale.
Just speculation on my part, feel free to add your opinions.
What I'm hoping will happen:
1 day before the servers go down we'll see Dalamund in the sky, and it will slowly get bigger and bigger with a countdown timer on the screen. All the shops and guilds will be closed since, well, the world is ending. So basically we can log on and watch Dalamund get closer and closer. When the countdown hits 0, then the cutscene will play that shows Dalamund hitting Eorzea, and so no one misses out, you can log in anytime after the servers go down to view the cutscene.
