All cards from every raid ever need to become personal drops. Not 24 man loot

Honestly its just silly that cards are treated the same as the orchestrion rolls. They're a collectable, not some kind of end game content after all. However unlike the music, you can't buy these cards from a marketboard. Not saying SE should do that, far from it but if it were changed to just dropping into your inventory then everyone in the raid has a chance to get one since it would be a fixed drop instead of "Heres a card, theres 24 people. Have fun." Even if it were switched to the greed only if you have it in your list, that still would only be one drop per... I mean in older trials the cards still just drop randomly, why can't the raid just do the same thing?

I kind of wish the orchestrion rolls could also only be Greeded on if you had it, or maybe market board prohibited? All I know is I keep losing by 1 on Ultima's Transformation every time I go in (and I've been in specifically for that, too) when someone I know has won Trisection three times now :(
As for the cards, at this point I've about given up on winning them. I completely understand folks Needing for MGP - after all, the card is either gonna sit in your collection gathering dust, or help you to get mgp, too. I don't do it myself, but it's a fair cop I guess.

I wasnt referring to the Need/Greed, I was referring to some sort of visual indicator just to tell me if I already own the card, for those that don't care about MGP and know they can pass on it.

We're LONG overdue for this. It's one of the many simple QoL requests that the devs seem either clueless on how to implement or possibly put themselves into a position that applying such a thing would cause problems for other parts of the game (i.e. coding and server interaction problems).

That aside, definitely agree with OP. Triple Triad isn't exactly popular anymore... and it really seems like it never will be again. I'd say there's no harm in these drops going to people in larger waves if it could potentially increase the likelihood of someone playing. It's not like it gives you a lot of MGP either to sell, where the time spent could easily have gone to any of the minigames in the Gold Saucer for far more in the same time.

It would be fine if the cards were unique but since they're not, and many raid cards are worth decent MGP on turn in, I know people who always need on them. I feel like they either need to make cards that drop in raids unique, or personal drops as was suggested. And yes, also, an indicator on whether you own the card (as well as orchestrion rolls, while we're at it) would be great.

Please don't. At least I still have an option if I farm the same crap for X times and still didn't win it. Price also crash pretty quickly since it's 100% drop rate now, so it's not too bad imo.

Back on topic, they can just make the card drop directly into personal inventory like how they used to do it during early void ark. I got no idea who decided to change it into how it is now really.

I just ran LotA through the roulette and ended up with the card from there. It was a nice surprise and just happened on its own. I much prefer such an experience to what we have in the HW raids :I

I'm a card collector and have been running Royal City with the singular goal of getting the cards. In 23 runs I have gotten one of the two and three scrolls (two unique + a dupe). I've lost rolls on both cards with 98's. And at least three scrolls with 97's and 98's.

So 5 winning lots in 23 runs and 5 that were darn close. Not horrid.

Personally I'd like to see the cards also drop randomly like they do in other dungeons in addition to being in the loot pool. That addition would make things more agreeable to most folks I wager.

I've had to run some content for as many as 45 runs to see a random drop happen, so RNG can be just as brutal there as in this case. I think the difference is that you can see your loss in Royal, and that stings more. When the dice are rolled invisibly and you either get the drop or not in your inventory you have no clue as to how 'close' or 'far' from winning you were. So you shrug and go, "ah well, I'l try again". When you loose a card with a 98, you feel a bit shafted. The visibility of the loss matters.

I know that if I keep running the raid I'll get the card in time. My 98 loss on the one I still need would have won it a score of times in other raids. So it will come in time. It's a bit frustrating to run the content and lot a 22 or such on what I need, but I try to figure that would be like running it and getting no inventory drop in another dungeon.

So I sympathize with other frustration. Adding in the inventory drop aspect would, in my eyes, be the easiest and best solution. If I remember right Void Arc had that happening at one point in the past, where you could lot for the chest card, or possibly get the random drop.

And TWO unique cards in the raid? Really?

Good luck folks. Hang in there you'll see it. Over the last week the number of people lotting on the cards has dropped to an average of 17 of the 24 on my runs. So slowly the odds improve. I've seen people win cards and music with high 80's and low 90's more often now.

Supported. I don't know why they changed it to having to lot, with individual drops everyone gets a chance at increasing their collection or getting some MGP without negatively impacting others.
