I'd love a creepy zone, too.
The Black Shroud and Mor Dhona used to be the creepy zones but they've changed a lot. Or it's probably just the creepy feeling 1.0 had.
The Boyahda Tree
Den of Rancor
Sky
Can’t edit on mobile but another type of area we haven’t gotten is an entirely volcanic zone.
Sea
Sky
Dynamis
Fortress areas that actually feel like a fortress like castle oztroja
The moon like on FFIV
A ruined metropolis full of monsters and undead
A magical forest, like the Timeless Woods in TERA. Or anything pretty and ethereal and weird.
The zone below the Azim Steppe, The Burn. The cratery, ashy place.
Zones where the entire map is underground.
I'd like a proper desert zone like the southern third of Southern Thanalan, but bigger.
I'm kind of hoping we'll get to explore the Nhaama Desert in some form or fashion, since the Burn looks more like a wasteland then a desert.
This is where FFXI nostalgia comes in for me. We have a desert and a large area covered in endless snow, but these zones failed to capture the feel of Altepa Desert and Xarcabard, and it is quite honestly the music that makes the FFXI zones what they are. They really made you feel like you were in that environment, whereas FFXIV brings about the emotion set in the current point in the MSQ when you arrive there. Nothing wrong with Sagoli or Coerthas, just an old soul, missing old times and wanting to feel those same feels. But I think you might get an idea if you listen in :)

There is also the Jungle of Yuhtunga and the forest that many a FFXI player will remember as the Sanctuary of Zi'tah, so shrouded in trees of unimaginable height that it is in perpetual night. Both type areas I would love to see added :)

Kleenex time. Bye!
As unlikely as it is, I hope we get more zones of the Azim Steppe with its different landscapes, and see the rest of the tribes.
