Outdoor furniture are also subjected to displacement due to rounding off of axis value. Just shift them very slightly a little and it should work again, don't give up, you're nearly there! >_<

I was able to place the items correctly once, but I had to move the elevator to a different spot, and now I'm having a hard time. >< Is there a way to tell if I'm getting close to doing it right? I've placed the wall and the stump and now I'm adjusting the arc. Right now I'm able to jump but it just blocks off the top and I stay in place - is that a good sign?

EDIT: I was able to replicate it at the same spot as before. I'm guessing this glitch only works in certain parts of certain houses?

What you want to consider is if you'll 'bump your head' on whatever piece of the house is above you. If you 'bump your head' it'll just glitch you right up. Sometimes 'bumping your head' on the wrong outdoor pillar or whatever will only jump you up the wall and not onto the roof. It takes a LOT of time to do, I still haven't perfected my 'elevator'.

In theory any spot that can fulfill both the height and enclose area condition should work. Though only certain parts of houses can do that so I guess your statement holds true.

Was Rex's method patched? I can't seem to make it work. I'm able to get to the top of the arc, but nothing is happening with the standard.

My fc has the large shirogane walls, and the set up in the front, you only need the Arc and stump. My fc has it set up with only 2 furnishings.

I've been able to get it working on the side of a medium carbuncle house. I haven't had any success with the back of the house, which is a total bummer since I REALLY want to get all the way to the top. :( The space between the house and the fence is really tight back there.

I'd be interested to see if anyone else has better luck.
