Garlean city

I imagine Garlemald mostly like a cyberpunk like city rather than a modern city in real world.
Tall metallic buildings with intimidating look. Robots everywhere to serve and fix/build things.
Everywhere smoke and pillars of cerulium smoke everywhere. No temples of any kind anywhere as Garleans forbid any form of religion.
You will see a lot of workshops though. Small and big. They live a military life. Their society is structured just like the army ranks.
I expect to see monuments of emperors/generals or past great scientists in the streets though. Perhaps some museums of Magitek history.
Dark skies and very cold. Garlemald is built on a very harsh and cold area. Worse than Ishgard.
Magitek helped them survive and establish their nation. They had it very tough when they went there.
Don't expect to see a colorful happy city. The land there is dark and harsh.

I hope we become friends with the Garleans before we go to Garlemald, otherwise I fear the capital city will be a dungeon. Making Ala Mhigo a dungeon was a mistake.

Actually given their history of once living in southern Ilsabard before being forced north you'd think they'd have just built their capitol there rather than remaining in the harsh lands they were forced into. Also a magitek/military museum seems cool, we could do with a museum of some kind in general. I know we have an allagan one but allagan tech is a bit too unrelatable, which it's supposed to be ofc.
