Man i just want a cybernetic suit to glam with. The only set that looks remotely like one isvthe poetic but even thats a stretch.

This is the kind of gothic look that I would like personally Gothic Clothing, really love the steampunk/victorian look.

Someone's going to have to explain to me where we draw the "style" line.
While I agree with gothic clothes because they are a final fantasy style, I disagree that those things make it ok to not draw a line. I would rather the devs become discouraged from making silly things like that anymore and focus on more serious stuff that is grounded in better lore (I'm still annoyed by the sheer laziness of the swimming mount lore)
Whether or not you think silly things and out-of-place gear and mounts need to stop being made can't change the fact that they're already in the game and are incredible leverage for people to ask for things that "wouldn't fit in XIV" (which has lost a lot of merit among having snowman suits, Yokai watch toy weapons and even a chicken dinner hat). Doesn't mean I like it either, but the line has been crossed.
Leather/goth/whatever gear is fine to ask for; they'll probably even indulge players if the demand is there. But the "doesn't suit XIV" argument is practically out the window.
