Help Sightseeing log bugged??

Have you done all of the first 20? As you can be in the correct place, time and weather but not have done the 1st 20. As 21-80 only unlock after you've done the 1st 20.

thanks that might be it, I still miss 2 in the 1 - 20 range. I will try that first.

That's definitely it in this case. Spots 21-80 won't even acknowledge that you're standing on a vista if you haven't finished 1-20 yet. The other expansions are like that too. If there aren't slots added to your sightseeing log, those vistas aren't available.
