I'm the same, I TRY to watch videos but will forget about half of it and its the really important stuff too, or I panic and forget what the video said. I need the first hand learning/exp, but I TRY videos for others. I have done a couple of raids and they are really fun once you get them down, but it would be cool if you were on the same server, I'd totally add you and we could try learning/raiding together, start a group and what not of like minded people who don't want to "inconvenience" others.

Yeah, but you only need the best gear if you're doing the hardest content. We filthy casuals will get plenty of mileage out of normal mode.
