What traditional class(es) are you going to be?

Ranger, end of story.

Ranger or Musketeer seem my speed.

I'll go for the mage classes, most preferably White or Black mage. Physical classes, most definitely Ranger or Dragoon.

Bluemage all the way.

I will exact my revenge via Impish Incantations and Sanguine Bite...

The one that gets to ride the shiva twins (summoner) and something that wields swords but is a good mix between an offensive and defensive character (like 70-30 off/def or 60-40).

Like ninjas, not the best at tanking, but pretty good at hurting stuff if you wanna spend the money.
I mean the balance of Off./Def. is good in girnd parties but it lacks int he long run with DPS and tanks when it comes to those jobs in the later end tier content. but would be fun to play I admit.
but my Beastmaster would grief your grind parties -.-;

Dragoon and depending on if they could pull off an even better way to make blue mage (XI lore wise); then bluemage!
