You are the exception. Still glad to hear there are at least some people who seriously try to learn their job.

I would say Dragoon if ring of thorns exist.
But it doesn't. So I would choose MCH! SIMPLY because it isn't flashy enough for me until 64.
Yeah, I recently had a DRK in The Vault who had used a jump potion. I'm usually a very calm, patient person, but my blood was boiling pretty quickly on that run. It was a nightmare. I was having to give the DRK basic tanking tips that a player in Halitali should have already learned.
I wouldn't use it since leveling is quite fast already.
But if I need to decide, I would pick drg, especially if you're looking to raid later on.
Me think. if DPS players never use tank or healer. Want fast level tank/healer, buy for jump potion.
It's really bad idea? If need to learn before using rotations.
This was fun. Thank you.
Seems arcanist and dragoon got the most votes.
I definitely understand the frustration with players that can't fulfill the expectations of their roles. I do think some people have too high of an expectation of skill in general, but I certainly would expect even a jump pot player to learn to use every ability on their toolbar with some effectiveness.
As for dungeon mechanics... You know, there are some dungeons I just forget? If it wasn't for roulettes, I wouldn't have set foot in then in 3 years? If you're running DREX, then yeah, they should know the mechanics, but I'm not inclined to get bent out of shape over leveling or msq or trials ignorance.
Anyway, this entire thread was mostly academic. Thanks for the feedback.
Had the same with a healer when I was tanking. I had to actually tell them how to Swiftcast + Raise, never mind the associated troubles of being barely healed at deaths door multiple times.
To answer the OP though, Arcanist without a doubt. It's basically 2 jobs for one potion. Two different roles as well, so you can enjoy healing and DPS both. No other job offers this diversity.
Crafters :p
