I've had a few times where I have gotten lotted an item I already had so it was discarded lol. That is the only issue I have with it.
What if the others don't have it, though? I saw the healing ring twice in a row in a run last night. Same run I saw the aiming bracelet and neck. I have all of these in Armory chest so I got the message. I was a healer and we didn't have a ranged. I'm not sure this is quite working.
Personally I am all for keeping it as is. Hold onto the accessories till you have what you want then sell them. Even if they drop and you don't want them, need them and you got less for the auto-loot to dispense.
Same can be said for any other piece of gear that drops that doesn't fit the current party consistency. However, the same piece; in four man content, should not drop more than once per run. There's plenty of other gear that could drop.
Fending, Maiming, Striking, Scouting, Aiming, Casting, and Healing that consist of the left side of equipment (6 x 7 = 42) plus the right side accessories (5 x 4 = 20) and then weapons (1 x 15 = 15) so a total of 77 potential items. I really don't understand why people feel duplicates are fine when a dungeons loot pool is that large. >.>
I disagree, and prefer this loot system.
