Forcefully move people out of Balmung (and other insanely congested worlds)

Cross realm zones would be a good improvement to help lower populated servers and then give even LESS reason to be on highly populated worlds. I know people go on about how they dislike cross realm zones in WoW, but they are a really good thing. It's nice to be able to log on and see people in the world.

There is a lot of instancing introduced for the big realms, but the smaller realms don't need that segregation. It just makes the smaller worlds seem smaller at launch of expansions.

I hope they can introduce the cross realm zones anyway :). I love it in WoW.

Yeah it says that in the aether server list. It's almost like he missed the fact that I was talking about my alts that were on congested servers.

A free option we simply don't want. There is no incentive for us to transfer right now. Log in queues? Whatever. I'd rather deal with them than lose my house. Forcing people from Balmung and Gilgamesh to random servers is a phenomenal way to lose subscribers. And what, do you think people will just stay put? They'll pick a server and you'll see a mass move to those servers. Congratulations, now Sargatanas is over 20k and Cactuar is right behind it. What now? Going to lock people in place for six months? That's a fantastic way to guarantee they'll quit the game entirely. Considering Balmung and Gilgamesh outnumber multiple other servers combined. You probably don't want to piss off that many players.

Sounds a bit to much like Delta Airlines for my liking.

Yes, force people to move because, f**k your friends, FC, and other social connections, according to somebody that isn't even on the server.

They did. They decided Mateus, and a good chunk transferred to the server, and STILL transferring there. Last I heard, Mateus no longer has housing because of it as well.

I was on Balmung before it was even called Balmung. Leave me alone
