To be quite honest i feel like this quest is trolling me, but w/e ill buy it haha :D
What really bothers me is that all the content for gatherers is locked behind this stupid MSQ. I thought that i could level up miner and botanist and make a nice profit of this bottleneck or level up my crafting classes with the new materials but i cannot even get those. It is day 3 of the early access and i haven't been able to benefit from it. Tomorrow even more ppl are to be expected. If SE is not able to fix this there is no reason to touch the game for at least a week or two.
It'd honestly be fixed already if they added a Duty Finder style queue to the instances. People would be able to see they're 1287th in line or whatever, and the server would let them in when it's ready. Honestly, they're just making me want my money back at this rate. I'm kind of ashamed of the lack of foresight and the unwillingness to copy paste a few lines of code to add this feature, even on a temporary basis. And this isn't even salt, this is just me pointing out their lack of common sense.
The salt starts when I say I'd like to chop off Raubahn's other arm as well as his legs.
This.... can I have my sub and game money back now? I don't even want to play this game anymore.... I come back all stoked for this new expansion and sit for more than 10 hours spamming an NPC; even over server down hours it's impossible. One statement with no updates shows you are hardly throwing your guys at it honestly utter failure, kind of like the Samsung Note 7 situation at this point only no one has been hospitalized.
Normally I don't like complaining like this- and normally I don't even go on the forums. But this is ridiculous. If it the quests were actually broken, I wouldn't be so upset- it's the fact that Square Enix has officially stated that they're bottlenecking us. On top of those quests, the instance servers are constantly going down and 90king people, so the only choice you really have if you want to level after doing the side quests available is FATEs.
The memes and jokes were funny within the first 24 hours. But we're going on day three of early access: and with only two days left until the official release, it's only going to get worse. Once the masses of Red Mages and Samurai catch up and everyone else who's purchased the game hits that first quest, there's no telling when we'll be able to finish.
Shame on you, Square Enix. This isn't a bug or a glitch- why don't you come out and admit that you were unprepared for how popular your game was, and so far refuse to take the necessary steps to fixing it?
