Our raubahn instance was broken, but we also made an orderly queue to deal with it. It worked for a little while. ATM there is a tiny trickle of people up to that instance so the congestion is not there anymore.
I hear that Masamune instances are totally broken. Tonberry instances seem just fine. Most people simply didnt waste time here and did many FATEs, PotD and PvP for the first 48 or so hours. (though PotD didnt work at first)
Getting into the game: The players in queue number tends to blink the exact same number about 5 times+ in a row then you move 100 places up in the queue. Night times the queue is 2000ish and takes 40mins-hour to get in. Low times queue is 300ish and takes 15-20mins to get in
90k's are a plague that people fear, last night i had a friend lose 2 PT members to an hour log back in queue so they went to bed ^^; In my small circle 5 people DCed (90k) last night in total.
That is all I can report from this side, or at least from my server onry.
Also we don't know the instance server ratio to players logged in. Japan could have more instance servers then NA. So these types of thread are? fear mongering? hate based? culturally biased? Not sure what they are trying to prove with out other info.
I am curious what the JP players are saying about all this. Do they have Raubahn memes too, making a uproar about it too?
It disgusts me that they're actually managing to profit even more off of this disaster lol
Doesn't NA and EU outnumber Japanese player base?
It's worth noting player distribution, Masamune shares a data center with Chocobo and Shinryu, the two most populated JP worlds. And though Tonberry is very populated, it's mostly on a center with fairly low pop worlds. (Even then, Chocobo only has about 12k active players, compared to Balmung's 18k and Gilgamesh's 15k! And those numbers are from before SB's release)
