It is 2017 but the realism in this game is still subpar

5- Since immersion is broken everywhere for you, why continue playing this game? Why not return to the "realism" of your AAA games and we--the many who have much lower threshold for immersion-will continue playing it.

well, ffxiv doesnt really make sense in most things...its an unpredictable pattern.


They sometimes DO randomly add some realism to spoil the fun:

Remember Fish tanks? I have to choose between sea water and fresh water? SRSLY?! Just let me combine whichever fish I like!


but then on the other hand....... desynthesizing fish will give you bikinis.
Because duh, obviously!

The Warrior of Light saves the entire realm from disaster twice a week, in between running errands for any Tom, Dick or Harry who asks and bringing peace to centuries-old conflicts...I doubt anyone had the nerve to ask him to pay taxes or his water bill or anything so petty. You don't want the only god-slayer in town too distracted by trying to make ends meet to do his job.

This is a troll thread, I don't believe he's being serious. He did made another topic earlier about how ugly Elezens are.

Entertaining the notion this isn't a troll thread, you might be able to expect stuff like that from a PC exclusive game with an enormous budget, but it's not. The amount of detail and realism they can put into it is very finite.
