i think something like a mortar as an alternative weapon would be a fantastic idea. perhaps even making mortars, or explosion-based weapons, a secondary off hand tool for the class.Quote:

this one features a secondary weapon for the Heavy Machinist concept. this particular weapon is an artillery mortar that can be placed down, or converted into a weapon that can be quickly drawn and fired upon an enemy.
other forms of utility may include what kind of ammunition you want the mortar to fire, such as napalm, gas, concussion blasts, agro-flares, or simply explosive rounds. in its sentry mode, the mortar will fire automatically, and the different types of ammunition may affect the fire rate: for example, Napalm may cause less fire rate than regular explosive ammunition or flares.
you may set the mortar to target a specific enemy, or if there is no enemy tagged, simply the enemy you are attacking.
