Abusiveness and trolling have been the only reasons I've kicked people from PotD. Though, I was kicked once for informing my group I was gonna afk for a sec to put a spider outside. I guess they wanted me to kill the spider or something.

It's not clear to me if some of you are just speaking generally or suggesting I tried to force the other person to skip chests, but just to be clear I never so much as asked them to stop getting them or even brought it up. If people want to get chests, I'm not happy about it, but it's a random group, so I'm not going to demand they do otherwise. I simply told them I didn't care about any pomanders aside from a single Resolution once they began lecturing us in a way that made it clear they were taking issue with the fact that we weren't rushing to grab every chest in every room.
Go against the group, get kicked. Delay a speedrun? Kick. Portal camp a chest run? Kick.
Chest runs are less common in DF, but I do see them.
And why not reach a common ground? 3 want to speedrun vs 1 who wants to upgrade his gear, why not a speedrun only taking silver chest for example? This is a cooperative game after all, it would be bad if either part has to leave the party because some disagreement. And worse if happens with a new player involved.
they just need to remove the potd weapons at this point. In fact let's just put everyone at capped everything so the speed runners don't have to worry about being slowed down. This is a problem in every game I've ever played with a duty finder.
Honestly, if you do not go in as a premade you should always expect to do everything in potd or even do small pulls in DF. If everyone matched has capped stuff speed run away and be happy. Otherwise just expect to collect chests at a minimum for weapon skill ups and hordes.
Mainly just abuse in chat, trolling, or griefing. If you accidentally run into a room and we have an intense pull, that's one thing. If you continuously do it and we almost die repeatedly, you're gone. If I go with the person who needs silver upgrades and you sit at the passage but don't say anything, I'll just quietly think you're an asshole. If you get snotty about it in chat, you're gone. If you insult or verbally abuse partymates in chat, you're gone. We're not there to have to take that shit from you.
