Diadem 1.0 launched without vote dismiss and without a way to add players in progress, it wasn't removed.

It's his playstyle. Don't tell him how to play his class.
OP is mainly talking about leeching during the main objectives and mission where people are getting completion rewards for contributing nothing and having no way to remove said leechers.
I'm pretty sure if I tried that in any other duty and people noticed I would be kicked.
kind of sad to think that this is supposed to be the "new and better" diadem but still lacks basic features such as a vote kick. SE continues to fascinate me with their lack of foresight sometimes. Never happened to me but I ran it in the first week before stopping. However my predictions for diadem are currently on track. Two more weeks before its reduced to nothing outside of occasional peak hours once everyone has their mounts and or glamour. I myself have stopped with they fury and simply focused on just gathering but even I wrapped that up last week. The laziness of some people... It's one thing to min/max but to exploit?
The real question is why did they let you AFK at all? You don't see people AFK in dungeons(often), why is that? Because incentives. This just doesn't have that once you finish the main mission.
If you afk in diadem then you're part of the problem.
Diadem 1.0 : SE thought there would be no problem between players, but it's happened with : Gatherers VS Fighters.
Diadem 2.0 : SE fixed the last problem, and thought it would be okay this time, but it is not with : Fighters active VS Fighters passive.
Where was that guy from the other thread saying the RNG nature of the i280 means it takes more dedication? He really ought to see this thread.
This also highly supports previous statements that if given a hard road and an easy road to a great reward, people are going to choose the easy road 9 times out of 10. That doesn't make someone intentionally taking advantage of the system okay. Not one bit. But if SE lacked the foresight to see this, well, I guess we'll all be back complaining about it if/when it happens again in 4.1. . .
The design of it makes it hard to vote kick though. You can't obtain new members if you kick one out so honestly it comes down to, it's rather sad that someone who pays the sub and queue up for content, is content(I hate the English language) with being afk rather than actually playing and being active. You get more done being active and yet they do nothing. If you want to fight afkers, just blacklist them after the encounter and you should no longer queue up with them.
