You only need to beat primals to get the Lux weapon. Keep in mind that you already were rewarded for all the previous step by the previous stage of the weapons.
You can't compare building an Anima from scratch with obtaining a Diadem weapon.
IT was a stupid idea period this does nothing to help players that didnt wana do relic weapon, if SE wanted to help those players they would of put ilvl 270 or 265 weapons in there with much higher drop rates. This was just an attempt to get people to do fate grinds.
Sure I can. You can't tell me what to do.
Players should have to work for a weapon that high instead of having casual content just throw one at them on a random rng whim.
Didn't high end raiders always bash the relics saying only the raid weapons should matter and always be the strongest?
Yet now both the Relic and Raid weapons are subjugated to Diadem? And so soon? Pffft.
Ya, honestly, it reminds me of the Family Guy FCC episode.
"FCC Suit 1: Gentlemen, we got 20 calls about the David Hyde-Pierce incident. And as you know, one call equals a billion people, which means 20 billion people were offended by this. Needless to say, something must be done. " Just replace David Hyde-Pierce incident with "IL 280 Weapon drop in Diadem"
Unpopular opinion:
It's the end of the expac and it doesn't matter. Your Anima's were just going to get replaced by basic gear in Stormblood anyways, like how your relics in ARR were. The drop rate is also pretty low, so it's not like your efforts were wasted.
I'd get this if it came out right on 3.5, but it didn't. There's literally nothing left.
Best Friends Forever only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i275 weapon with no-RNG.
Born again only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i270 weapon with no-RNG.
Future Proof only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i260 weapon with no-RNG.
A dream fulfilled only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i240 weapon with no-RNG.
Finding your voice only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i230 weapon with no-RNG.
Coming on its own only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i210 weapon with no-RNG.
Toughening up only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i200 weapon with no-RNG.
Soul without life only requires you to clear casual content throwing an i170 weapon with far more forgiving RNG than anything the Diadem can do.
Funny thing, I'm pretty sure you were upset when raiders considered you a fraud for having such a high weapon without skill.
how many steps did it take to get your savage weapon
one quest right?
-complete 4 hardcore primals we overexxagerate and call raid bosses with the same other 7 people once a week.
The real point here is that it was on purpose, because who the hell is gonna do this diadem anyway if not for that carrot on the stick. FATEs as a new mechanic to diadem? Really now. Dunno about you guys but between levelling, and doing relics, since 2.0 thats more of a deterrant than making me want to even participate. A 280 weapon? I might give it a try,
Honestly, not too worried. All the Leeroy Jenkinses out there are making sure that most of us don't have a shot at a shot of getting i280 weapons lol
