If I remember correctly Yoshi had stated he considered our last step "Painful" and that the final step would be more of a victory lap. I don't have an exact quote but I remember seeing it.

Honestly this looks to be the worst .x5 patch they've ever released. But they did hold off Diadem & story.

Given that its supposed to be a "victory lap" AND that the last step was easy and not that grindy overall, it shouldn't be that bad.

They added a new trial, ending story bits for mhach, final relic step, and new stuff for DoH and DoL. the x.x5 patches have never been large lol.

Seriously???

Other than 2.55, how many of these have we had?

Still no ponytail...rest of the content I won't really participate in. The Fanfest fight wasn't too bad so that shouldn't last long.

Probably be March 21st. You know when every other game releases on that day.

"Unidentified Flying Object." It must be talking about Proto Ultima.

Zhloe Aliapoh looks nice, that could be interesting, but it feels like GC provisioning missions with a pretty veneer.

Other than that, this patch has literally nothing in it for me. PVP is not something I do, and to be honest, I wish they'd focus the resources they waste on it on other content. Adding a new 24 person trial has little relevance for me as well.

The Relic path is far too Grindy for me, even with the nerfs, by the time I got part way down the line, 4.0 will be here and Story gear will make it completely redundant to me.

All in all, not very impressive.

The worst thing is losing a day of play time for the 'content' in this patch.
