Getting tired of hearing about this game being a "WoW" clone. If it was like WoW I would have quit already.

Hey guys remember when that one final fantasy played the exact same as that other final fantasy. Yeah FFXIV should be just like that.

I don't think Ul'dah wants another Goobbue in town after the incident...

I have nothing against mounts.. but I hope not to see them cluttering up town. XD

Perhaps I missed the memo whenever this became the norm in MMOs, but... what's the point of having different mounts? Seems like a big fat waste of development time. If a Goobue is a fast as a chocobo, that's just weird, and if it's not as fast as a chocobo, hardly anyone is going to use it.

If they're going to make different mounts, I'd like to see there be some benefit for using different ones. Maybe a goobue can take more of a pounding before it gets 'lamed'.

Maybe I'm just behind the times; I've never seen the point in achievements either.
