I did not know this. I'll give it a try then.

You could say that about any piece of content though, there are different types of players, I personally play golden saucer stuff just about every day. But when a new raid comes out Besides spending the time doing the dungeons to gear up for it, I complete it one time then don't do it again. I don't even touch the savage stuff.
I'd like to see it implemented someday...but only if it's genuinely in-depth, smooth and satisfying. The rewards should be meaningful too.
Triple Triad is a fun time killer, the problem is that the tournaments are terribly terribly broken and there's no way to place in the top 3 without win-trading. There's all kinds of ways SE could fix that but they haven't bothered to do so.
I think Blitzball could be fun IF we can recruit pre-existing NPCs for our teams like in FF X and if the majority of the content for it isn't PvP.
Personally I found Blitzball dull in X and would rather not see it in XIV.
Triple Triad could be fixed by just disallowing people from entering tournaments that they've already won. For the sake of fairness they could add a separate tournament for 'winners only' with a high MGP reward as compensation. Not a perfect solution but it's clear win trading isn't going to be addressed and it's very tiresome to see the same few players exploiting win trading to win the majority of tournaments. Especially on a server like Balmung that already boasts a bloated population.
Why would you prefer not to see it implemented just because you didn't enjoy it? It would very likely be completely optional and it's a fan favourite where mini-games in the franchise are concerned.

The last thing I want to see is the devs focusing on silly mini game content people will be fed up with in a week. Blitzball is LoV all over again.
I would love it. At this point you cant really say making it is waste of resources because look and the Vermillion crap that came and died fast.
The only other well-loved mini games that haven't been implemented in XIV in some form or another are the snow boarding from VII, the motorcycle mini game from VII, and chocobo hot and cold from IX.
I'd say PvE monster arenas like in VI, VII, and X too but those are more side quests and the Palace of the dead kind of does that already.
