To sail the darkness of the cosmos with this planet as my vessel-oops you meant the game....
This forum is the end-game.
How far can you go, and how stupid can you be, before you're banned. It's some RNG for sure.
Having played FFXI from 2005 until I retired in Nov 2015, I'd like that game's content over here in FFXIV as endgame. There is Dynamis, Salvage, Nyzul Isle, Einherjar, Sea, Sky. I also like endgame that made me travel, to actually feel like I'm adventuring.
I mean, there ARE teleport points in FFXI, but not how they are in FFXIV. If we were to fight Titan, I would like that we had to make our way there.
EX Primals (Farming), Raids and glam /huh
Waiting until the next patch comes out is my End Game.
There are not many fun and worthwhile things to do until then.
I'm pretty surprised that it's still possible to talk on the forums without having an active subscription.
I guess I had two other End Games in the past.
Getting as many achievements as possible. (But it lost its appeal)
Completing everything in the crafting log (including housing)
There is no endgame for me. Just fun with friends.
Raiding is my current endgame.
I do hope they add something like besieged with a hamlet defense twist. I enjoyed how casual and close that content was and the idea behind it that drew the server to come together (some people may hate this but imagine having idyllshire's aetherite crystal stolen and people can't port in till we take it back from the respective beastman tribe lol). This coupled with overtuned bosses that the general NPC's tank and we all try to stay alive. Lol quick chaos with token rewards attached to it and maybe titles...I think it would be fun.
Pretty much glamor, redecorating my house or messing with my alts. I just changed Grand Companies, went to 2nd LT in a day (alt) so shes doing the squad stuff for 1st Lt now.
I'm in a FC of 2 people (wife and I) so raiding, etc isn't something I could do easily...
Whatever peaks my interest really.
My end game is to periodically quit and go play other MMO's for a few months, then come back and play all the new content that has been released since I have been gone. I have never once run out of things to do.
I typically cycle between 5 or 6 MMO's playing each one for two months at a time, though FF14 is one of my top two.
