Lore For Hiding Weapons?

I have always thought that they should add a light effect when that option is activated and we get our weapons out, just like Sora's Keyblade in KH. :p

I figured it was an extension of the glamor system characters use. In universe it is used to change appearances and even building, so being able to mask weapons when not in use seems loke a viable thing to do. Naturally you'll want to see your weapon when it is out, so its toggleable by the user's touch, or a motion.
