What card does AST get that completely shuts enemy healers down for up to 24 seconds?

SCH has more instants to make up for DPS Line of Sighting, to mitigate knockback interference, but all of this does absolutely nothing if they are knocked out of LOS + slept. What's the SCH going to do to the WHM? Blizzard 2 them? Blind them?

What's the Astro going to do? Combust?

WHM -does- need to play around SCH/AST, in that they need to appropriately time their sleeps and wisely use their FA's so that they are not using the GCD on what SHOULD be a heal.

Wisely? Please. It's on a 30 second CD, is not on GCD, and is insta cast. There is no wisely. You set healer as focus, make a macro to cast it on your focus, and use it when your team is bursting. It's not hard. There is literally 0 skill involved.

Stella. SCH could Blind the dps, mitigate inc damage. Blizzard ii, for peeling. You seem a bit salty that a WHM that is getting 0 pressure is able to spend an oGCD that normally would otherwise be used to peel for themselves (not on the healer) is ruining your day.

With this game's latency, you can choose which way you get knocked away, use awareness to avoid getting knocked out of LoS.

Fluid aura is on a 30s cd, suppose to be used for peeling themselves, and is melee range.

Ewer: Mitigates MP drain by giving you small amount of MP regen.
Balance: Mitigates weak DPS by buffing their damage.
Spear: Mitigates lack of insta heals AST gets, among other things by giving you lower CD's.
Arrow: Mitigates lack of Spell Speed if stacked crit/det.

How about we put the rulers away and agree to disagree, this isn't going anywhere. I think it has deviated from the main point of this thread.

So by adding mitigate to every description of card uses, it makes them all just "mitigating counters" ok. lol. lol. lol.

Using a GCD to CC is the same thing WHM has to sacrifice, and if they are getting pressured, the shouldn't have much room to be free CCing. Again Fluid Aura is melee range, so you have to actually be standing next to the other healer to get it off. Now I'm questioning if you've PvP'd, otherwise you'd know poor positioning is a factor.

Except it hasn't, because the point of the main thread, as Stephan stated, is to make healing Feast more enjoyable. Balance the healers, remove hard counters, and accomplish that goal.

You don't get a kill because your DPS doesn't do enough dmg. How do you mitigate this lack of dmg? Balance.

I don't care if it's melee range or not, it is a small arena and it is not hard to run up to a healer who is spamming heals on their DPS to keep them alive.

While the main topic of this thread is void from Koltik's point, I still want to try and help him see why his views are flawed and based on bias rather than theory. I think that there is room for civil discussion here.
