If it comes to AOE I often don't know if I should flare or not. This skill feels so useless if you have 2 WHM in your party. Before my flare hits, the pack is gone. Sometimes I think the party (or at least healers) are laughing about my wretched attempt to take part in trash killings.
On a side note. Lately (POTD) I've seen WHM so used to DPS that they forgot to cancel Cleric Stance at Boss fights. And Tanks have to ask for heal in chat channel sometimes. No joke. Perhaps this were exceptions. As a BLM I can heal myself a little bit, and sometimes I have to. I have no problem with Healers who can do alot of damage, but in first place they shouldn't forget their primary task.

Wow... that's bad. Though, it is true that WHM and SCH tend to make most AoE damage from the dps fairly useless.

You forget there's still 3.5 to come up since we still have not fought the last Warring Triad and the Mhach side story is not finished.

I have yet to see a single PotD bossfight in which I actually need to heal someone unless they run into AoEs on purpose.
So really, I'm actually just wondering what the people in your parties even did to need healing in the first place :x

The nightmare is when you forgot turn off cleric stance before entering new floor and it's gloom and ability unavailable.

SO the OP believes healers are OP in dpsing. Funny how Yoshi-P laughs when people ask if WHM can have better DPS.. As WHM Main DPSing is not my list of things to do. With what we have for DPSing is for soloing only personally. So Nerf is unlikely.

4 WHM party wins every time.
