Not entirely true. Are you forgetting that battle system will get reworked? It is possible that monk will kick more. And this is a movie, you don't need to follow monk skills at max detail but movie give more freedom than in-game animations.

The Warrior of Light has the Echo, which allows us to relive (and interact with) people's memories. If this is a flashback, it would be the lady in red's memory and not a case of time travel. What's missing is that annoying wavy colorless overlay they usually put on the Echo visions.

Yoshi P referred to him as the Warrior of Light during the Keynote when referencing the trailer.

Even ignoring the tattoo discrepancy, she looks too smart to be Yda.
