I don't see why that would matter. Guildhest Roulette has one 8 man and a bunch of 4 mans, Mentor Roulette has everything from 4 mans to 24 mans, and Frontlines Roulette can fluctuate on the number of players involved in a match.

Actually 9 dungeons can pop-up:
- Aetherochemical Research Facility
- The Fractal Continuum
- Neverreap
- Pharos Sirius (Hard)
- Saint Mocianne's Arboretum
- The Antitower
- Lost City of Amdapor (Hard)
- Sor Khai
- Hullbreaker Isle (Hard)
We seem to be getting the same ones over and over, but that's not because they're the only ones poppable - The thing is that, when needed, the matchmaker pulls people who signed up to the Duty Roulette towards ppl who queued for a specific dungeon. As an example: if I entered DF and asked to go to Aetherochemical specifically (cuz I need it to complete my main scenario), the matchmaker will fill my party with people who queued for lvl 60 roulette.
The main reason the duty roulette exists is to offer an incentive for people to go to dungeons that are not bleeding edge from the latest patch, because of the newer players and to keep older content relevant. The entire design philosophy behind FFXIV is built around this.
Don't need to remove that dungeon. Let SE cut down the tomes there, add some 160 gears instead, then it may work.
(And, to be honest, I don't care running it time and time again.)
ARF is terrible and should be removed. Its the most frequent dungeon. Shouldn't be lvl 60 roulette, they should just call it ARF
You only need 2 lv 60 dungeons to unlock lv 60 roulette. And you can still do it outside of the roulette.
But because it is in the roulette and a story dungeon, there will be no exceptions and everyone will have the same chance to get it throught the roulette.
Just start the Anime questline, and every uncapped tome will give you joy.
I have literally had ARF once in the past week of running the 60 roulette almost every day. I don't think this is a major issue unless you are having really abysmal RNG.
I have no idea how many dungeons that need to be cleared in order to unlock the 60 roulette (50s you need ALL of them) as I've had it unlocked from release, however it doesn't matter if it's 2 or all, OP isn't asking to remove ARF from 60s, they're asking for the individual option to select it to be removed in order to prevent people from spamming it. I don't see the big deal regardless, all the dungeons are the same in the end, at least ARF offers a decent reward. However the point is the same, fresh 60s would not have 60 roulette unlocked right away, they would gate them right off the bat. (Plus, how else would they clear it if they disallow people to select it individually? Such a silly request.)
