I don't think anybody can talk about que dodging in a bad light when absolutely everyone does it. Good dps try to avoid healers they don't like and vice versa in solo que.

What's to blame in this case is that party que is dead and the only way to get ques is to set them up. You invite people in the skype group, they set it up through the linkshell. As far as I can see there isn't any intentional throwing, and whether or not they feel like queing against anyone is up to them. And to me personally, party que having rewards when it is so dead is kind of a joke regardless. It is like getting into the top 10 but only 10 people showing up. At that point it isn't a real competition. And at the end of the day you have to admit that even within the skype group that on a good day you might get 2 or maybe 3 teams including yourselves to que. At that point it's obvious that even in our skype group battles that one team is going to probably have an advantage and have a nice farm session whether or not the games are close.

Like I said, the situation on Primal is that even Koltik's team has had to set up games to even think about getting a number of ques through the Primal Skype Group. Everyone on Primal in the top 30 has benefited from games setup before hand. Party que, at least on Primal, is that dead. And it is for that reason I can't see the distinction between the two. It is basically what you have to do in order to get a que on Primal Light Party Feast.

And the part about rewards, like ya, I wouldn't be surprised if top 30 had some bronze players get it on Primal. At this point playing light party on Primal is basically a participation award.

I can understand the skepticism of his win/lose ratio and how it comes off as someone in win trading, but I don't believe these people are doing so. From what I am understanding is it just random people wanting to try pvp, and don't want to get bashed in solo ques and play for fun. I want to make this very clear as well, I have no personal affiliation with these people because if you know me well enough I don't care to do so. So for a simple explanation the difference between the other setup 4v4s is you all know what you are doing. The levi, lamia, excal 4v4s are people of the pvp community and have the experience and knowledge (to a degree) vs these people that mostly don't. It looks as if the very small pvp community of exodus is just taking new people into premades as stated before or practice and/or fun. I see the spam enough in say at the wolves den to know that most of these people are generally clueless. Just as I was typing this I see, "i haven't done much pvp yet so bare with me" and a reply of, "you will be fine." As I said before I can understand the skepticism 100% from Koltik and everyone else, but I still see it very unlikely. Also, if they did dodge you. I would go with they didn't want to get steamrolled again. But if I am wrong, feel free to stone me.

Benefiting from setting up matches+accepting any and all challenges that happen during =/= Benefiting from setting up matches+purposely avoiding games that you didn't set up

As far as I'm concerned if people continue to dodge games within the ranked playlist once custom games are out we should be free to label them as people that just want the items. This is generally speaking not just this situation. I hope they add a loss of points for not accepting a queue

And this is why party ranking items were a mistake and the devs knew so on release.

They didn't not accept que, they just stopped queing, most likely because they were steamrolled. Koltik did mention that the game he had vs them lasted 3 minutes with his team 'going easy' on them. Ya I wouldn't blame them for stopping.

Didn't we also have a conversation on a different day that people on Aether actually have a alarm type of system for certain people queing in 4v4 solo that you don't want to play with because it is a likely loss? Pretty much the same concept. I don't blame people for not wanting to que if they aren't going to have fun or feel like matchmaking may give them the shaft.

like i said GENERALLY SPEAKING and NOT JUST THIS SITUATION. I really don't know how you can compare choosing not to queue at times where known solo queue bots/new people are spamming games ---> organizing games and withdrawing from queue pops that aren't against your friends in a playlist that affects a leaderboard. I'm sorry but it's not even in the same realm

and we don't have an alarm system people just mention who's playing at the moment and people choose their own destiny.

This simply isn't the case, and you must be extremely oblivious if you think that these people across several data centers, who are not known AT ALL in their communities except as cheaters, are getting to high rankings legitimately.

When a queue pops which is not against one of their predetermined teams, they drop it, and try again later when (hopefully) there is nobody else queuing.

Edit: After reviewing the 'evidence' from both Koltik and the alleged exploiter, I will say this.

Doing in-house games while refusing to play other teams = Trading/Boosting. It is technically against the rules, as laid out on the top post on these forums, to do so.
Doing in-house games while welcoming other teams to play you = Okay in my books. The population is very low and so the players need to find ways to play SOMEHOW.

That said, the fact that this guy is by himself in the top spot with huge points and less matches played than the other top players means he took points from higher rated teams, it literally screams "boosting." This, in tandem with the fact that the "losing" teams on Exodus are still going positive in point gains after their bouts, really does smell fishy.

Sorry, this portion of the post was not targeted at you, but at win traders in general (in reply to Aviars.) I'm not too aware of most Primal players, but even Koltik said you have been around since pre-season, so it doesn't apply to you :)
