Eh, I think it's good because it gets you all hyped and ready to play the new stuff when it's released. It's just like watching a movie trailer, they get you motivated to go see the film because it shows some parts that got you thinking, "OMG! Are they gonna be okay? What's going to happen next?!"
When it comes to the dungeons/trials, yeah, they show the mechanics, but we have to figure how it works once the content is released.
Basically, if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't watch the trailers. With this in mind, they don't reveal everything on what happens in the dungeons, trials, MSQ, or the extra content that is coming in the patch; some things are kept secret.

If you think they show too much, you have option to not watch it.

I have to say I think they do show too much in the patch trailer. It leaves nothing to be surprised about when they show every single boss and bit of the mechanics because just from looking at the trailer I can tell what your already have to do. I would rather they not show every single boss in the dungeon/raid because then the surprise factor really goes down because you already know what lies ahead. Think of it this way I'm sure most people would feel more excited if they didn't show Alex Prime in the trailer because then people wouldn't know what to expect.
You can build excitement in a trailer but I think the way they do it over time it begins to go down fast when you actually reach the content.

They showed a lot. If you pay attention to each of the characters gear you'd notice the new weapons they're carrying in each dungeon. Cant wait for the glowing Ravana weapon. Hive Forewing skyrocketed in price. Glad I bought some when they where only 10k. Now they're 1mil a piece.

Honestly I think the only thing that may have been too much was showing A12. We already knew we'd be facing Alexander himself in some form this patch so I'm not sure if that was necessary. That said we don't actually know how much they revealed. There may be more to things that we didn't see. The Sophia fight, for example, showed nothing of any ultimate. We saw the arena change but didn't see the actual attack so I'm assuming they deliberately didn't show that.
