You know what's funny though. The number of responses in this topic already attacking what I've said and excusing the significant change in numbers. Yet almost every other time there has been even a minor alteration in something announced, the forum is full of people complaining as if it's the end of the game for them because of this.

All I'm doing is asking for someone from the community management team to help us understand the change. Maybe I should have just raged against the change instead of politely asking for information about it?

First, when they planned on adding new spots I thought just like you, then I argued with selfish people and I almost had to apologies to them because I wanted a little house for my FC and thus, prevented them from getting a 3 or 4 house so....I know the intention is good, but you are just like Don Quichotte on that point, fighting against self thinking mills that dont give a damm about sharing ressources and enjoying the game all together :/
(you know, that guy from every end of the world movie who try to get all the ressources for himself instead of sharing them and create some kind of strong community to kill the zombies :p)

I don't say you should not, I'm just saying that you are "wasting" your energy regarding that matter and will only be dispointed if you expect people to think like you :/

Thanks, and I understand what you're saying. There is always a part of me that is so disappointed by the general attitude of our 'community' here.

However, a home is built one brick at a time. If I can change one person's point of view for the better, I've succeeded.

Like someone already stated, they said they are adding a building in every ward and subdivision. So its not just 3 Buildings with 90 appartements each. Its way more

Plans very often change during development.

Look at all of Yoshida's visions for housing that he communicated before it was launched. It was going to have so many more cool features than it does. But as development went on, they had to pull pieces out until they arrived at the stable form of housing we have now (I'm guessing because they had a small team, and the producers said "no" to some of those ideas).

Mind, I'm not saying I dislike housing; it's a really cool feature, and I really wish it was more accessible. I just recognize that it's not quite the vision that Yoshida communicated. It's why I tend to take details in his discussions of cool new features with a grain of salt. The heart of what he says rarely changes, but the details tend to.

That only still equates to 6,480 apartments. More than two-thirds of Balmung won't be able to get an apartment.

Sadly, forums here don't understand that. Best bet for us it to constantly refresh and try to get on asap.
